On February 6th and 7th we had a visit from a group of students from the Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium in Hagen. The 17 students came accompanied by four teachers and it was the first visit to Namibia for all of them. On Thursday they went on a tour of Katutura with Henog and Carlotta to get to know the district in which Wadadee cares operates. On the tour they visited various Wadadee cares projects, a visit to the Old Location was also on the program for a better historical understanding and at the end there was a refreshment at the Kapana market.
The next day, we worked in small groups on the projects. One group was in Monica's Soupkitchen, another group was with the children in Inami and the rest helped plant the new plants on our Okukura farm. It was a great and impressive day of work for everyone on the projects and we would like to thank everyone very much for the visit and the active support.
