Awards ceremony on 08 June 2017
Lena Palm was honored with the Young Talent Award by Aachen Sozial on June 8th.
Just like in Namibia, her best friend and biggest supporter Shaun Awaseb was at her side and gave a touching eulogy. Little Giovanni, former volunteers, friends and supporters of Wadadee cares were also there.
The Aachener Zeitung and the Aachener Nachrichten reported on the complete success of the evening as well as on the other prize winner Boris Bonger.

The hometown of our Lena Palm honors her commitment through Wadadee Cares eV with the young talent award from Aachen Sozial .
For the first time, a young talent award is being presented - and the first to receive it is our Lena as the founder and main protagonist of Wadadee Cares.
In addition to the honor of receiving the award, there is also 3,000 euros in prize money that will go directly to our projects. We thank Aachen Sozial for this support and are happy that we can use this money to help many more children in Namibia.
